All Wet

Amanda watched as large underwater bubbles float past her from somewhere below. She was dreaming again.

She can see that it's almost sunset and she realized that she didn't have much time, so she dove underwater. At this point, she realized that she held a box. She clutched the box to her chest and propelled herself forward towards the shore.

She looked up over the water to see if she was closer to the beach. She would take a breath, then go back under and just shoot forward while clutching the box.

She continued to do this until she reached the shore.

Amanda woke up. Compared to her other dreams, this one was relatively tame. She sat up in bed and looked out the window. As tame as it was, it was still so realistic. Why would she be dreaming of this?

Maybe I was some form of dolphin before I lost my memory. Amanda laughed. It was absurd.

Even though Amanda knew it was just a dream, there was something about it that bothered her. She replayed it over and over again in her head. It was the box. She remembers dreaming about it before.

She has to get back to Vermont.
